Rebooting the TIL Podcast

About a year ago, I started a podcast called the TIL Podcast, where a few friends and I sat down and discussed whatever topic we decided on. It was a lot of fun recording but eventually got a bit hard to keep a consistent group of people to record every week. We got out 13 episodes before taking a hiatus. I’m happy to say that I’m going to reboot the show.

What I’d like to do this time around, and what I think will be a better format, is interview folks who are experts on some interesting subject area. I have a few recordings lined up already but I’d love to hear from others who wouldn’t mind being interviewed. The format will be like this:

  1. A short intro by me on the subject, what I know, and who the guest is.
  2. I’ll then turn it over to the guest, who will discuss how he or she got involved in the topic.
  3. I will ask some leading questions about what the topic is and some interesting questions regarding it.
  4. It will end with how you can find the guest online.

I’m thinking between 30-35 minutes per episode. If you’re interested, shoot me an email or fill out the contact form and tell me what you know! If you’re interested in sponsoring, you can also get in touch about that. 🙂

How I Built It is Officially Hosted by Castos!

Castos is a fantastic WordPress-centric podcast hosting platform that I’ve been recommending in my courses and coaching calls. For a long time, I’ve considered making the switch, but the migration process always seemed so daunting. On…

Creator Courses is now on Nexcess’ Managed WooCommerce Hosting

A couple of weeks ago I made the decision to move Creator Courses off of an early version of Liquid Web’s Managed WordPress hosting and onto their new Managed WooCommerce Hosting by Nexcess. I was concerned about a number of things, like performance/speed, development environments, and overall feature set. Let me tell you: I am not disappointed.
