Announcing The Goodhouse Foundation

It is with great pleasure that I announce the launch of a new website for The Goodhouse Foundation, a non-profit organization my brothers and I have started to combat and raise money for Multiple Sclerosis and Cerebral Palsy. Over the past week or so I’ve been developing the site, which is content sparse at the moment, but will soon change.

Here’s a little bit about the foundation. You can read more here:

The Goodhouse Foundation is a volunteer-driven charity committed to funding the most promising research to find cures for individuals with Multiple Sclerosis (MS) and Cerebral Palsy (CP). It begins as a challenge for four brothers whose mother has MS and aunt has CP; our mission is to give individuals with these conditions long and healthy lives with ensuring equipment for those with both diseases.

In the coming months, we will be adding events, volunteer opportunities, and information about these two diseases, neither of which have a cure.

I’m very excited to be working with my brothers on this; the four of us each have different strengths and with the help of a few friends, we know we can grow the organization into something really fantastic. For regular updates, you can follow the foundation’s twitter account, @GoodHouseMSCP.

On a more technical note, keep an eye out! I will be fixing up and releasing this custom theme, which I’ve named “Non Profit,” as an open source project for others to use.
