    • Ice Cream = Google TV + Honeycomb + Gingerbread: This excites me.
    • Firefox’s Slowest Add-ons [mozilla]: I run 2 of the 10, including Firebug. Must be why I don’t use Firefox that much anymore.

    • MLB.com CEO: Android users less likely to buy, more likely to pirate apps [bgr]: 2 things with this- First, With more tablets, Android will become more profitable than iOS for AtBat. Second, I bought AtBat 2010. I’m not going to buy it AGAIN just because it’s a new baseball season. I didn’t want to buy it in the first place because I was already paying $100 for MLB.TV
    • TravAlert Wakes You Up Before Your Stop [lifehacker]: This is pretty cool.
    • Taxes: Writeoffs for Freelancers [freshbooks]: Tax Day is less than a week away! Are you ready?

    • Amazon Cloud Player Puts Your Music in the Cloud
    • Amazon Cloud Drive: Backup and Access Anywhere

10 Android Apps the Make my Life Easier

    January 26, 2011

It’s no secret that I love Android as a platform, and I favor Android phones over the iPhone. I did my Master’s Thesis on the G1, bought the Motorola Droid- the first Android phone available on Verizon, and recently upgraded to the HTC Droid Incredible. One of the reasons I like Android so much is because of the openness of the Market Place, and the ability to install non-market apps on your phone. Apps are very powerful for any platform because they make your phone more personal. Today I want to tell you about 10 Android apps that have made my life easier!

With tax time right around the corner, everyone is gearing up to file and hopes for some sort of refund- found money! For freelancers like myself, this could be an upsetting and arduous task if you’re not prepared. If you’re not prepared, however, it can be a real pain and a bigger shock. Here are some tips for being prepared for tax time- especially for you new freelancers.
