When it came out some time last year that Hulu was going to start charging for their service, people were up in arms about it. I decided to wait it out to see how they would do it, stating that if they kept their then free service and charged for value added stuff, it wouldn’t be at all bad. Well, Hulu Plus was announced a few days ago and they did just that.
I did this last year for 2008, where I alluded to a possible annual post; here we go! This time around I’m covering: toy, website, service, moment, and book.
During 24 tonight, they premired the X-Men 3 Movie trailer (I wasn’t watching 24, as I’m not caught up, but my friend told me when they aired the trailer). I have got to say that this movie looks amazing. After seeing the first two, I hold these movies pretty high, adn think that these are among the best comic book movies (if not the best). X2 was better than the first and it is rare that a sequal is better than the original. I cannot wait for this movie, and will probably be among the first to view it. I have been meaning to write this post for a while. A couple of weeks ago, my friend got my into Scrubs, a show on NBC about residents at a hospital and the angst they have about being doctors. The main character is John Dorian (J.D.), who starts off an as intern and is currently an attending in the 5th season. His friend Chris Terk is a surgical doctor who went to college and med school with him. There is also Elliot, the cute female doctor and JD’s on and off ‘girlfriend’ and Carla, Terk’s girlfriend, who is a nurse at the hospital. My favorite character, however, is Dr. Perry Cox, JD’s mentor. He is mean to the point of very funny, but you can tell actually cares when the moment calls for it.
I’ve linked the first 2 seasons, which are currently the only ones out on DVD. Rumor has it Season 3 is due out next month. Scrubs is aired on Tuesdays at 9 and 9:30pm on NBC. Later!

I’m banking on the fact that that will change at the end of this week when I go on Thanksgiving Break, which, baring tests or quizzes, I will be extending by 2 class days. Save Arrested Development!- FOX has a knack for canceling great shows. AD is honestly the funniest show I have ever seen. It won 5 of the 7 Emmies it was nominated for, and FOX wants to oust it. We are hoping that with enough support, we can get them to bring it back, or get some other station to pick it up.#

As you may know, Leno was called as a possible witness for Jacko’s trial. Because of this, he is not allowed to make any jokes about Michael Jackson until he has testified. But, this court order does not prevent him from writting jokes. So, he had Brad Garrett (Everybody Love Raymond’s Robert) to read the jokes he had written. Read about it Here. Later.
Thats right! Family Guy is coming back. I know it might be some old news to some of you, as it is for me, but i felt the need to post it anyway. The new episodes will be airing in Spring 2005, so it is something to look forward to. I happen to have every available episode of DVD and they never get old. I look forward to the off-color humor, jokes that are just wrong, quagmire’s sex comments, and Stewie. Until then, there will be a pilot episode on American Dad, a new series from the makers of Family Guy, airing on Superbowl Sunday. If its half as funny as Family Guy, it will be…pretty freakin funny.
