Over the years, I’ve posted tours of my desk. I try to update it 2-3 times per year when significant hardware changes happen. Since the last post (Fall 2022), I’ve made several changes to light positioning, I/O devices, and added one big piece to the puzzle.
A while back I wrote about how I stay organized. The process isn’t dramatically different, but the gear has changed and I’ve gotten some questions about it – so here’s an update!

has happened in WordPress this year, and what we can expect moving forward. As always, he extolled the virtues of open source and the importance of contributing. He spent several minutes on Five for the Future, a program encouraging companies who make money with WordPress to give 5% of their time to the open source project. And while I strongly recommend contributing, I don’t think it’s the path someone should take when they first learn.
1Password 8 is out now, and despite Apple’s Keychain/password manager getting better, I still prefer to use 1Password for most things. The redesign is fantastic, and I’m excited to see even more integration into macOS and iOS. But one feature I’ve always ignored is Watchtower.
