Use iGoogle’s GMail Gadget when GMail is Down

Gmail is down! Oh No! How will we go on?! So I’m being a bit over-dramatic, but many of us depend heavily on GMail for our day-to-day duties. That’s why today’s quick tip will tell you how to use it when it’s down (swanky!)
Disclaimer: I only know that this works for me. I am able to send, receive, and archive from GMail using iGoogle GMail gadget.
- Login to Google and go to www.google.com
- If you’re not there already, click “iGoogle” in the top right corner, next to your email address.
- Now on the right hand side in the iGoogle banner, click “Add Stuff”
- Search “GMail” in the Search for gadgets box.
- Add the first one
That’s it! You should now be able to use GMail’s core functionality while it’s down.
