A sad day in baseball

Today, Barry Bonds ‘tied’ Babe Ruth’s lifetime home run record. Barry Bonds, a man who has a bigger strike zone, better baseballs, more games and steroids under his belt. Now understandably, The first three are just because of the time. But because he took steroids, he should not have this record, like his single season HR record, and Sosa’s and Mcguire’s (if in fact, they did take steroids). Or if you want to put them in the records books, put a star by their name or something. No matter though, Babe Ruth will always be the greatest ball player who has ever lived. Later

Initial Impressions on the Kindle Scribe

Earlier this year, Amazon announced the Kindle Scribe — their competitor to the reMarkable 2. It’s more affordable, they had an initial deal for Prime members, and a good trade-in price for my Kindle Oasis. SO the $500 device got down to $238. I bought it. Here are my initial impressions.

  1. Hank Aaron has more home runs than Ruth, so Bonds hasn’t reached the career home run record, yet. I agree on the asterisk next to their names. In a way, it’s better; they’ll always be remembered… as druggies.

  2. BULLSHIT!!!!

bonds is a damn good baseball player and no asterisk or anything

you don’t u put an asterisk by hank arron because the field was atleast 50 yards smaller

he did it good for him Babe ruth was a booze hound no asterisk there for being a dick…

  3. Yes, but even though Babe Ruth was a booze hound, he was still a great ball player.

And Arron played more games than Ruth too, but with no performance enhancing drugs. Not to metion, Bonds is way too cocky.

  4. Last I checked, booze was not a performance enhancer. I doubt the hookers helped Ruth’s game much either.

Everyone knows that Bonds (and I’m sure others too) took hormones intended to make monster-muscled cattle that more than doubled his performance very late in his career. How anyone can defend him for cheating so blatantly is beyond me.

  5. head to head who would win in a home run dirby

ruth or bonds…bonds just give the guy some glory he is better than me so i give it to him
