I’m not much of a marketing guy. For a long time, I’ve taken a Field of Dreams approach to marketing, which I’ve written about quite a bit. And while I know that you need to define an audience and solve a problem, I still struggle with the packaging of certain offerings. But what I’m learning is this: you need to invoke a feeling, not just tell people what you offer.
In 2022, we’re at an inflection point for WordPress — one even bigger than Gutenberg and 5.0. WordPress has been marching steadily on, to become a good no-code solution for people who have some technical proficiency. And Full Site Editing is likely going to speed that along…once it matures a little. So you might be wondering…how can you be a WordPress freelancer in 2022? That’s the question I intend to answer today.
