Never Lose an Idea Again: My Exact Setup

Voice notes are the fastest way to stop losing ideas — but only if they land somewhere you actually look. Here's the capture system I run, end to end.

I lose ideas in the car, in the shower, and halfway through playing with my kids. So I built a capture system that takes about three seconds to use and files everything for me. In this video I show the three questions to answer before you build anything, then my actual setup: Whisper Memos triggered from the iPhone and Apple Watch action buttons, piped through Zapier into my Obsidian inbox. If that's more wiring than you want, I also show the version that works on any phone with the built-in Voice Memos app.

Not sure which system to fix first? Take the free quiz — it asks a few questions and tells you exactly where to start: https://streamlined.fm/quiz?utmsource=youtube&utmmedium=description&utm_campaign=idea-capture
