100 Words 020

Hello from 5:45am! I’m working from Coalwork this morning, starting at 4am we opened up shop with Ryan Leckey from WNEP to promote WordCamp Scranton!

While it’s super early (especially since I went to bed around 11:30pm), it’s very cool that they’d come down to do some spots with us. It’s also really interesting to see how things work from a production side of things.

They got set up pretty quickly with a camera, a mic, and a floor light. They get general times, some vocal cues, and then boom, they are live with us for 2-3 mins. Pretty cool gig!

I’ve long-felt Spotify is the superior music listening app, but lately I find myself using it over Apple Music for a different reason. Inexplicably, both my AirPods Pro 2 and Max cut out when I use them with my Mac Studio. Some sort of interference. So instead, I connect them to my phone to listen…

I’ve been trying to read more; it isn’t working out the way I had hoped, but I’m still making the effort. I have started at least 3 books without finishing them, but right now I’m reading Gumption by Nick Offerman. I loved Paddle Your Own Canoe and couldn’t wait for the follow-up title by Ron Swanson. Prop Bets Are Bad for Sports

Emmanuel Clase and Luis Ortiz’s betting charges are the latest in a long list of reasons (like death threats to players AND their families) why prop bets are bad for everyone. Sadly we can’t rely on MLB to ban them. And we probably can’t reply on the government to either.
