About Joe Casabona

A few years ago, my business felt like my kids’ playroom after a long week—a chaotic mess where I couldn’t find anything. It felt completely overwhelming.

I was successful on paper, but I was also the bottleneck for every decision, drowning in admin work, and heading straight for burnout…which I hit in November 2020, with my first and only panic attack.

I wanted to completely overhaul it…or maybe give it up all together. Then I thought about how we fix the playroom’s chaotic mess: a quick 5-minute clean up.

Turns out my business needed the same thing. A “5-minute clean up” that led to a simpler, smarter system to handle the chaos.

That’s where my 20+ years as a coder, technologist and teacher come together. I love untangling the “duct-taped” tech stack and finding the simplest path to clarity for my clients.

My goal is to help you build the powerful, automated systems that handle the busywork, so you can get back to the impactful, needle-moving work you love.

When I’m not working, I’m usually watching the Yankee game or building Lego with my kids —the real reason I believe so strongly in creating a business that gives you your time back.

I’m also a huge fan of Disney, Star Wars, the Yankees, pens, and cigars.

Fun Fact: In another life, I’d probably be an animator.

About this Blog

I guess the official start of this thing was in 2002 when I had some space on Geocities and was just starting out in the web dev world. I was in high school, so really it was more like a LiveJournal, filled with teen angst. I mean, you know how high school is. Or maybe you don’t. It’s cool.

Since then it’s evolved from a fake LJ to a place of substance. I usually talk tech, freelancing, and whatever else piques my interest. I’m always up for a discussion, so feel free to add in your two cents anytime you want.

It’s also an aggregator for the other places I produce content:

There’s also whatever social networks I happen to be on at the moment:
