I think Verizon’s network is the best and them teaming up with Apple for iPhone will definitely boost sales for both companies.

I’m really curious to see how well Verizon’s network holds up after a massive amount of new iPhone users. I don’t think anyone–including AT&T–could have predicted just how insanely, unbelievably popular iPhones would become and how much data those enthusiastic iPhone users consumed.

That said, AT&T really dropped the ball by not fixing those traffic problems once they surfaced. They have only themselves to blame at this point.

Amber, I don’t do GMail notifications (it’s very liberating!) but it actually doesn’t affect data being pushed to the phone- it still syncs all the same. To be honest, I’m not really sure what it does haha

Ah yes, I do see both Facebook apps, but the one I use (don’t know if it is the official one or not) is fine enough for me to upload pictures. I barely use Facebook on my phone for anything other than an easy way to post pictures.

For the favorites widget, you go to the plus on the home screen, click widget, then click people. Then select which style you want. After that, you then click the group you want (favorites, family, etc). Then use the plus sign to add people.

Does the “enable always on mobile data” keep me from having instant email notifications through the Gmail app?

Thanks! There are 2 things I did to preserve battery:

From home, go to menu, settings, wireless networks, mobile network settings and uncheck “Enable always on mobile data” — this one is a big battery hog. This will not disable your data….it will disable the data network when not in use…then when you have something coming, your data will be fine.

I also use WiFi. I got the tips from this forum.

I will definitely check out that widget! And they might actually be the same app, but they register as 2 different ones. The one on the phone is “Facebook for HTC Sense” and you see them both when you go to share something.

Great post! I am surprised to see that you think the battery life is ok. Did you do anything to increase it? Mine dies 20% overnight, with no use.

Also, it does have a favorite widget you can put on one of your home screens, and can select if you want it to call a certain person, at a certain number, or even if you want to text them.

The Facebook app that came with it, is it not the official one? Sure looks like the official one I have on mine, and I never downloaded the app.

To move a database to an other host, will not be very easy. As I am concerned, I looking for a good host who can create a databas for me to manage my visitors and clients.
