Republicans have already created a stir (post on Tuesday, 1/20: http://bill84121.blogspot.com/), although they do lack the numbers to be a major threat. In these uncertain economic times, the Republicans might find an allie in Barack, who has already backed off raising taxes on anyone-- much to Pelosi's chagrin. Perhaps the Republicans should work with him rather than start off on the wrong foot, since he might be their only hope. I hope he can begin cleaning house.
